When Mala gets pregnant, Vikram refuses to marry her, and an argument ensues.

A painter, Karan, who is getting blur images of a girl is trying to produce it on canvas, he writes at the bottom of all the portraits 'Kahin Hai Mera Pyar' as a sign of his belief that his love exists somewhere! A businessman buys all portraits this provokes Karan's feeling and he opts to search for his love more vigorously as the story unfolds further.

Pratap, while stranded during a stormy night, meets with Varuna, and is instantly attracted to her. He proposes marriage through his family, and soon both get married. He soon notices that Varuna has some strange habits, which are compounded when he finds out that she leaves the house alone at night to go to night-clubs, and sings, dances, and drinks alcohol. When he questions Varuna, she denies ever doing any such thing. His mother thinks that Varuna is possessed, and arranges for an exorcism, which is in vain, as even Pratap is opposed to this. Then Pratap meets with Dilip, who claims to be Varuna`s lover, and knows Varuna as "Peggy".

Kahin Pyaar Na Ho Jaaye is the remake of the 1998 Hollywood movie The Wedding Singer, starring Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore. The film tells the story of Prem (Salman Khan), who earns his livelihood by performing at weddings and functions. Prem is in love with Nisha (Raveena Tandon), but fate has something else in store for them. Nisha walks out on Prem since she needs the money to cure her ailing brother, who is suffering from cancer. The only way to raise funds, as Nisha sees it, is by marrying a wealthy NRI. Nisha deserts Prem on their wedding day. Prem is heartbroken. Enter Priya (Rani Mukerji), who comes to stay with her cousin Mona (Pooja Batra), an aspiring actress. Mona is the next-door neighbour of Prem and slowly, Prem starts getting attracted to Priya. But there’s a problem again. Priya gets engaged to Rahul (Inder Kumar), who, we are later told, is the same guy Nisha was supposed to marry. Priya is on crossroads since she has also fallen in love with Prem. At this stage, Nisha also walks back on the scene.
